Early Saturday morning of May 5th, a fire broke out at an Austin law office, and officials have determined that the blaze was set intentionally. Furthermore, it’s also been stated that this recent blaze is one in a string of fires that have been set over the past few weeks.

No one was reported injured in this incident, and, investigators have been able to determine that not only was the fire intentionally set, but that it also caused both $70,000 in structural damage and $30,000 in damage to various things inside.

Back in the early morning hours of April 22, a fire that broke out just a few blocks away from this latest location was battled. This one was also at a law office and was determined to have been set intentionally.

In the case of both structures, they were homes that had been converted into law offices.

Officials also state that up to six fires have been set within the past several weeks, causing investigations into arson to begin. They believe that the same individual or group of people could be responsible for these blazes due to the similarity of them.
